The last two years have taught us that life is extremely fragile and can be painfully short. Living a life filled with joy and optimism can be particularly challenging during a crisis. In these times, we ask ourselves meaningful questions – Who am I? What is this world? What’s my relationship to it? These questions are an expression of a deep yearning to understand our experience of life. And there have been marvelous minds that have offered us the most exquisite explanations with the power to completely transform us. If you’d like you learn the most profound knowledge that has come out of ancient India, please continue reading.
In this course, we will be learning the tools to take a look at ourselves with a fresh set of eyes. We will be learning the knowledge of the Upanishads(the philosophical yogic texts) in the same form as taught to us by the great Indian sages thousands of years ago. In our journey together, we will study the Advaita Vedanta treatise – Drig Drsya Viveka(translates to “The discrimination between the seer and the seen”), which is a short but sublime poem that teaches us the method of Self-Inquiry. By the end of this course, we will have a firm understanding of the process of Self-Inquiry. We will learn to look at what we are not, and by doing so, we come to a place where realizing our essential nature becomes a natural consequence. This realization is profound, and it frees us from our deepest fears, which holds us from truly enjoying this precious life we have been given.

About me / Why should you join?
I am a practicing yogi and an ordinary individual leading an ordinary householder life. I have a full time job, and I’m very blessed to have a life partner whose values are in alignment with mine. I also happen to be a millennial, so I can say that I can absolutely empathize with the problems our generation is facing. I’m originally from India, and I currently live in California. I’ve also had my fair share of travels, which has given me a real good perspective of life. I have been on this path of self discovery for the last decade, and with my teacher’s blessings I would like to share this with you. All that I have learnt on this path is due to the grace of my own teacher – Jim Gilman, without whom this wouldn’t have been possible. My prostrations to him.
I have been teaching Advaita Vedanta for the last two years and you can checkout my YouTube Channel where I’ve uploaded some of my previous classes.
